Throughout the summer that year and each subsequent year, families of Warren maintain garden and distribute produce to area soup kitchens and food banks. 2002 (fall)
Garden Celebrations
Harvest Luncheon--6th grade students harvest and prepare produce for school/community wide luncheon
Cook-Off--"Zucchini Bread Bake-Off"
Award Winning--prize produce is submitted for judging at Bethlehem Fair--many ribbons awarded!
It is very satisfying to reach out to so many people in need of fresh vegetables. Each year, Warren School celebrates our garden by holding annual celebrations.
